Another Very Popular Thirsk And Sowerby Festival In It’s Tenth Year

Another hot summer and Thirsk and Sowerby Festival committee and volunteers pulled off a fantastically well attended tenth year free Festival on the Flatts last Sunday, 2nd August.

People turned up in their thousands to see the events, sample the foods and beverages on offer and enjoy the range of stalls, fairground rides of many types, inflatable castles and huge inflatable assault course, a very tall slide that did not put off many the youngsters who tried it out, games, rides for all ages and vehicles and motorcycles to admire.
